I am a Lord of Lochaber. I play drums. I hang out online way too much. I used to be a rock journalist but am now a researcher and webmaster. I like punk rock. I like disco dancing in supermarkets. I have a cat named Dexter, a monster named Buffy and a fish called Ringo. I read too many books on pointless subjects. Bands I like include Joy Division, Radiohead, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Iggy and the Stooges, Kate Bush, 60s garage aka Nuggets, Sex Pistols, Lou Reed, Pixies, Praxis, Anal Cunt, Grong Grong, Nirvana, Beatles, Sonic Youth, Regurgitator, Sepultura, Black Flag, The Who, Skinsuit, CD-R compilations, Zeke, Buddy Rich, The Clash, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, The Velvet Underground, The Pixies and Magic Dirt. Things I enjoy include zorbing, bungee jumping, glacier hiking, skiing, weight training, shooting, cuddling the wife, travelling, mini-golf, playing drums, cycling to the shops late at night, disco dancing in supermarkets, sleeping late, inebriated navigation, martial arts, marital arts, BJJ, insomnia, cheating death, watching people, pretending, taunting security cameras, playing in bands, leaving bands, having bands implode around me, sneaking into venues, kow-level pointless kleptomania, minor pyromania, taking my medication, getting published, being a righteous dude and mobile phone photography. I do not act my age and am proud of it.
